Contact MAGE

Regional Representatives

Start with regional representatives. Each representative has volunteered their time to help connect you with MAGE. Send an email specifying who you are, what you would like to learn from MAGE, what sort of services you seek, and where you live.  An initial return email or phone call might suggest what services MAGE presently offers and allow us to learn how we can improve our service for you.

If you choose to join, you should receive an email confirmation within two weeks.  (This confirmation will predate any printed information we provide.)  Once you have your confirmation, you might elect to request from your regional representative information about other members in your area.  By networking with other individuals who share your concerns or are more experienced with local advocacy, you may be more effectively equipped to advocate for the needs of gifted chiildren at both schools and towns. By forming local chapters, you will be able to form larger networks, and identify or create resources for gifted children.

Statewide Contacts

Also, you may call our voicemail hotline at 1-781-394-5526, and your message will be forwarded to a regional representative or other board member to return your call.  As this is a voicemail number, it is especially intended for those with limited email access.  In all cases, it is most advisable to contact the regional representative first yourself, as that is the purpose of the voicemail system anyway.

Escalation Contacts

Ordinarily, regional contacts will return your initial contact within 3 days. If you have not heard from your regional contact within 7 days, you should escalate to someone else within the organization.  Don't hesitate to escalate if necessary as vacation schedules will not be reflected on this website.

Final advice: be patient with MAGE. We are an all-volunteer organization. We are geographically distributed and handle hundreds of inquiries. Restate your purpose with each communication, and continue to ask questions even when no response is immediately forthcoming. MAGE strives to serve and connect gifted and talented families throughout Massachusetts.
