Advocating for the Gifted and Talented in Massachusetts

MAGE relies on members to advocate for appropriate education for gifted and talented students in Massachusetts. Advocacy ranges from casual letters to the editor pointing out the rights of all students to receive equal educational effort, to more organized campaigns of correspondence to let our representatives know that we care about gifted education and are watching how they vote.

Here you will find assembled an array of links useful for influencing people ranging from your local school committee to your state and federal legislators. Become involved, talk to people. Listen. And, when they vote in favor of your positions, thank them.

MAGE is interested in keeping abreast of the relationships you build with your representatives. If you have a story you would like to share with us, or wish to copy us on a letter you send to an editor or a representative, please send it to advocacy@massgifted.org.
